โดยมหาวิทยาลัยมีนโยบายที่จะนำความหมายทั้ง ๗ คำ นำมาเป็นพฤติกรรมที่พึงกระทำ พร้อมทั้งปลูกฝังและเสริมสร้างให้เป็นวัฒนธรรมองค์การเกิดกับบุคลากรทุกหมู่เหล่าที่ปฏิบัติในมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลตลอดไป
M - Mastery | เป็นนายแห่งตน - a possession or display of great skill or technique - skill or knowledge that makes one master of a subject - the upper hand in a contest or competition |
A – Altruism | มุ่งผลเพื่อผู้อื่น - selflessness - unselfish concern for other people’s happiness and welfare |
H – Harmony | กลมกลืนกับสรรพสิ่ง - is the way in which its parts are combined into a pleasant arrangement - an interweaving of different accounts into a single narrative - เช่น Harmony in diversity |
I – Integrity | มั่นคงยิ่งในคุณธรรม - honest and firm in moral principles (incorruptability) - the state of being united whole (completeness) - an unimpaired condition (soundness) |
D – Determination | แน่วแน่ทำกล้าตัดสินใจ - the power or habbit of deciding definitely and firmly |
O – Originality | สร้างสรรค์สิ่งใหม่ - novelty - innovation |
L – Leadership | ใฝ่ใจเป็นผู้นำ - the quality of being a good at leading a organization - the set of characteristics that make a good leader |
